EPL: You're Too Surplus To Requirements, Erik Ten Hag Tells Two Man United Stars.

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United's manager, has advised right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and midfielder Brandon Williams that they can find other clubs this summer.

Ten Hag has made it to the pair, but if he stays at Old Trafford, he won't get any playing time.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Ten Hag already has definite ideas about how his team will look next season, and those two aren't among them.

Former manager Ralf Rangnick started Diogo Dalot ahead of Wan-Bissaka in the rightback position on the final day of the season, which Ten Hag witnessed from the stands.

The Dutchman, according to the report, agrees with Rangnick that Dolot is the more'modern' full-back.

Wan-Bissaka defends admirably, but as a contemporary fullback, he lacks the ability to contribute to the offence.

The Dutchman has notified Wan-Bissaka that he is "surplus to requirements," according to the Manchester Evening News.

Crystal Palace, Wan-old Bissaka's club, has expressed interest in resigning the England international, although any deal would most likely be a loan with a buyout option.

Williams has also been urged by the Dutchman to find a new club.

The left-back returned after a loan spell at Norwich City, where he impressed despite the Canaries' relegation.

Williams captained United at the junior level, but in 2020, Alex Telles was signed as a back-up to Luke Shaw, pushing the Englishman even further out on the periphery.
