EPL: Man United has warned Cristiano Ronaldo that the club would not sell him despite interest from Chelsea.

According to the UK Mirror, Manchester United has made it clear to Cristiano Ronaldo that he is not for sale.

The news that the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, had a meeting with Todd Boehly, the new owner of Chelsea, to discuss a potential transfer, infuriated United.

Mendes reportedly made a Bayern Munich offer to Ronaldo earlier this week as the 37-year-old was evaluating his future at Old Trafford.

High-ranking insiders at Old Trafford, however, have made it very obvious that Ronaldo is staying put and that Ten Hag has already incorporated him into his plans for the upcoming campaign.

Jesus is not for sale. The insider stated, "We want and completely anticipate him to stay with us next season.

Ronaldo returned to United last summer and was given a two-year deal worth £500,000 per week.

The Red Devils, however, came in sixth place, 35 points down of champion Manchester City.
