EPL: Eriksen explains reasons he may choose Manchester United over Premier League opponents.

According to the UK Mirror, Christian Eriksen is delaying his decision regarding a prospective summer transfer to Manchester United.

After his short-term deal with Brentford expired this summer, the 30-year-old is now a free agent.

Eriksen had a big influence right away for the Bees, helping Thomas Frank's team comfortably avoid the drop.

Other Premier League clubs including United, Leicester City, Brentford, Everton, Newcastle, and Tottenham are now showing interest in the Danish international.

Eriksen is reportedly delaying making a choice in order to monitor how United performs in the early phases of the transfer window.

Despite not having added any new players, Erik ten Hag's top transfer target, Frenkie de Jong of Barcelona, is allegedly close to signing a £68 million contract with the Red Devils.

Because United finished sixth in the Premier League last season, they are unable to offer any new signings Champions League football.
