As part of his electioneering campaign, former Lagos State Governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the incumbent, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and his Kano State counterparts, Abdullahi Ganduje, have landed in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Tinubu and his allies are claimed to be in Ibadan wooing APC delegates ahead of the upcoming presidential primary, which is set for June 6th this year.
Senator Kasim Setthima, former governor of Borno State, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Bosun Oladele, Rotimi Makinde, Senator Rilwan Soji Akanbi, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, Bosun Oladele, and Wasiu Eshinlokun are among those aboard Tinubu's convoy.
Senator Teslim Folarin, Akeem Adeyemi, Akin Alabi, former Minister of Communications, Adebayo Shittu, Dokun Odebunmi, Senator Fatai Buhari, Idris Adeoye, and APC Chairman in the state, Isacc Omodewu were among the APC gubernatorial candidates in Ibadan to greet the presidential aspirant.
Dapo Adesina, Sunday Adepoju, and Ibrahim Olaifa are among the others.
Tinubu was meeting delegates at an event centre in Ibadan at the time of reporting this report.
