Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has named his running mate to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) (INEC).
Bashir Ahmaad, a former media aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, confirmed this via his verified Twitter handle.
Ahmaad, on the other hand, did not reveal Tinubu's running mate's identity.
"Our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has submitted the name of his running mate to INEC, as confirmed by his media office," he simply wrote.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) set Friday, June 17 as the deadline for political parties to submit names for vice presidential candidates.
