The All Progressives Congress, APC, national delegates have completed voting at the party's current extraordinary convention in Abuja, where the party's presidential candidate for 2023 will be chosen.
There are signs that a winner may emerge from the APC's national leader Bola Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and former Transport Minister Rotimi Amaechi.
Previously, Governors Kayode Fayemi, Abubakar Badaru, and ex-Governor Ibikunle Amosun, among others, stepped aside for the party's National Leader.
However, earlier in the evening, Amaechi, the former Minister of Transportation, accused the election of being rigged.
The former Rivers State Governor insisted on ballot transparency.
The voting began around 2 a.m. on Wednesday and ended at 7.45 a.m., despite tight security and the presence of aspirants' agents.
