20 Killed In Boki, Cross River State, As Ambazonian soldiers Launch Attack.

At least 20 Cameroonians have been slain in Southwest Cameroon by Ambazonian soldiers fighting for independence.

According to eyewitnesses in Nigeria's Boki village, Ambazonian soldiers crossed into the Nigerian hamlet near Bashu in the Boki LGA of Cross River State to attack their compatriots who fled and refused to join them in their war against the administration of President Paul Biya.

The incident was corroborated by Chief Cletus Obun, a former member of the Cross River House of Assembly and a House of Representatives hopeful for the Boki/Ikom federal seat.

According to Chief Obun, the surviving Cameroonians in the hamlet, who also speak the Bokye language of the Nigerian Boki people, have now swarmed Bashu, not far from Danare, where Nigerian military maintain a small camp.

Captain Tope Aluko, Public Relations Officer of the 13 Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Calabar, claimed she called their Officer Operations, who said they had not received such a complaint.
