EPL: Pogba might depart United for Premier League rivals Manchester City.

Kevin Phillips, a former West Brom attacker, claims that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba could leave the club and join Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal.

Man United are poised to let Pogba depart at the conclusion of the season.

The World Cup winner from France has yet to sign a new contract with Man United, and his current agreement will expire this summer.

So far this season, the 28-year-old has only one goal and eight assists in 18 games for Manchester United in all competitions.

"It's a fascinating one." Who can afford him is the major question.

"I don't think he'd go to Man City, and I don't think he'd go to Chelsea either." Those two clubs, in my opinion, are not viable options.

"However, I believe Tottenham may be an alternative." Would he be able to play in that system under [Antonio] Conte? At Juventus, Conte clearly got the best out of him. It's feasible because of that bond.

"Arsenal is a different team. He might be a good fit beside Thomas Partey. The money aspect would be significant. It will be a significant contract for someone to take on. Will you be able to get the most out of Pogba week after week? In all honesty, I believe it's more likely that he goes abroad," Phillips said when asked about Pogba's future.
