Afam, a football player from Obosi in Anambra State, died after collapsing during a football match. He was identified only by his first name.

An eyewitness, Chukwuneke Ugochukwu Bishop, claims that the incident occurred on Monday, February 21, during a football match between Iwene Tansi FC and another local football club at Odum Layout.

According to reports, the player collapsed during the group match and was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to reports.

The incident was captured on video, which is currently making the rounds on the internet.
