Alhaji Shehu Madaki, a leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State's Giwa Local Government Area, has attacked Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress's (APC) National Leader, for promising to pay all Nigerians' WAEC fees if he becomes president.
Madaki, who was not pleased with Tinubu's promise at a time when Nigerians are facing security concerns, poverty, and lack, went on to say that Tinubu does not understand the problems that Nigerians are facing, and that as a result, he is unfit to be President of Nigeria.
"I'm curious as to how Tinubu came to the conclusion that Nigerians' problem is how to pay WAEC fees.
"How would you sit peacefully in an examination hall in today's Nigeria, where instability, kidnapping, and murder are all over the place?" He inquired.
Only when people are comfortable, can sleep with their two eyes closed, and can eat three times a day, according to him, would they have time to think about education.
Tinubu's vow, according to Madaki, disqualifies him from being Nigeria's president in 2023.
He asked the APC to consider a well-informed party member who could persuade Nigerians, particularly the impoverished, that the party's flagbearer understands their immediate needs.
