After receiving a distress call from a female renter, police officers invaded the home of producer Olukotan Alan and whisked him away to the police station where he was booked.
Olukotan took to Instagram to express his sorrow while simultaneously posting a video of his detention.
He said that the female tenant had mistreated his mother, and that he had "set her straight," prompting her to contact the police on him.
He expressed his displeasure at being detained and questioned why the person who reported the crime to the authorities first could be considered the innocent party. However, when the police arrived at his home last night, they requested that he accompany them to the police station.
Olukotan, who recently became a father with his wife, actress Olaide Oyedeji, shared a video of his arrest on Instagram, in which he expressed his displeasure with the situation.
