Breaking news: Uche Nwosu, the son-in-law of Rochas Okorocha and a past candidate for Governor of Imo State, was kidnapped in the state.

 

One of the sons-in-law of former Imo governor Rochas Okorocha has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen at the St. Peter's Anglican Church in Eziama-Obaire.

Nwosu and other members of his family were attending Madam Jemamah Nwosu's funeral service in the church at the time of his kidnapping.

The gunmen invaded the church while the service was still going on and shot into the air before putting him in a waiting trunk, according to eyewitness accounts.

When asked about this development, the state's police headquarters has yet to respond.
