My Brother died after he was pulled off life support-Dangote

Mr. Aliko Dangote, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Dangote Group, has disclosed how he stood by and watched his brother, Sani Dangote, die after he was taken off of life support.

When the former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, paid a sympathy visit to the bereaved family in Kano, Dangote made the announcement.

He admitted that it was difficult for him to witness his brother's death in his presence and in the presence of his family when he was taken off life support.

As he put it, "It's been a really difficult period for us; it's been quite stressful, especially for myself." Having a brother like him is really difficult, and losing him is extremely painful. He died in front of me, my sister, our mother, and all of our siblings.

"The most difficult thing to hear is that your brother will be taken away from you in about an hour. Then you just stand there and watch as the machine slowly shuts down until it stops working altogether. It was quite distressing."

Africa's richest man, on the other hand, expressed gratitude to Tinubu for taking the time to pay a visit to his family. He also thanked the others in attendance, saying that their presence would help to alleviate the grief they were experiencing as a result of the loss.

The reason you are our host is because you are the governor of all of us, and we sincerely appreciate you devoting virtually the entire week to deal with the masses, which is not easy.

"I want to express my gratitude to you all for your prayers and support. "This will genuinely assist us in alleviating the suffering that we are currently experiencing," Dangote continued.
