Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman has said Tehran submitted a 10-point proposal during talks in Islamabad, adding that the issue was discussed with a Pakistani mediator.
He said the Strait of Hormuz was secure before the recent US-Israeli attacks, while also accusing Washington of shifting its position on the Lebanon ceasefire.
According to him, the US said the Lebanon truce was “not part of an agreement,” even after Iran clarified the matter through the Pakistani channel.
The spokesman also alleged that the US imposed a maritime blockade and attacked an Iranian ship, describing the move as a breach of the ceasefire and international law.
He further claimed that Washington had “violated talks and negotiations twice,” saying Iran had suffered losses from attacks on people and infrastructure.
