A young man identified as Israel has reportedly died by suicide in Elebele community, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
According to community sources, the incident occurred on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. The deceased was found in a nearby bush, with preliminary accounts suggesting he may have taken his own life after experiencing emotional distress allegedly linked to the breakdown of a romantic relationship.
