Early Tuesday, four burglars targeted the residence of Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Alexandre Letellier, threatening him and his wife.
During the incident, Letellier's wife was struck in the face, and the burglars, armed with a knife, demanded jewelry and money.
Letellier's two young children were present during the intrusion at their home in Hardricourt, west of Paris.
The alarm activated at 2:00 am, prompting a quick response from both the police and the club's security service.
Three of the burglars were apprehended, with two being minors. This incident follows a trend of celebrity footballers facing similar burglaries, including PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma in July.
Despite such incidents, a source close to PSG mentioned that all criminals targeting PSG players have been apprehended in the past.
