Super Falcons and Houston Dash defender Michelle Chinwendu Alozie, a Nigerian, has expressed her love for Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi.
When Pulse asked the American-born woman who was born in Nigeria which among the Nigeria Super Eagles' male players she admired, she responded by saying, "I don't have a favorite male footballer.
As one of the interviewees put it:
"I'll ask you this question, but you can choose to ignore it; we have some alluring, lovely, attractive women on the national team, and the same is true of the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Do you have a crush on any of those players?
Alex Iwobi, I'll say," she retorted.
The 26-year-old, who is also employed part-time at the Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas, as a cancer research technician, rose to popularity at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Her response came after netizens' responses;
I don't trust this girl because she's too fine abeg, @uthredofmercia commented. "With the thunderbolt speed she used to answer that question, pretty sure something must have been cooking behind the scenes."
@Ohams4PeterObi responded, "That's it.
Come and carry your belongings, @alexiwobi.
According to @Chidubem_OH, "She didn't even waste time."
The swiftness of her answer, Michelle Alozie now breaks many people's hearts, said @froblematichild.
