Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has a message for movie critics.

In a video she posted on her Instagram page, the movie star told them she isn't concerned about their analyses.

She asserts that she has received countless criticisms for how predictable her films have been.

Ruth Kadiri noted how Hollywood and other foreign films are formulaic but still draw audiences.

Despite the predictability of her works, she thinks the narrative is what matters.

"I've heard people comment that my movie was predictable after watching it. You sound stupid when you claim that the movie is predictable in an effort to assist me. Because even though you can guess the ending of foreign films before you start watching them, you nevertheless watch them through to the very end.

That's where we miss it when we try to communicate intricate stories. Why are you attempting to complicate a simple life? What matters is how I convey the narrative.

Writers, please quit attempting to overawe readers. Life is already a known quantity.
