BJP can not be defeated by just mere opposition unity-Prashant Kishor

Today, Prashant Kishor asserted that a united opposition against the BJP in 2024 will "never work" due to its instability and ideological diversity. The genius election strategist also questioned Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra's advantages.

He claimed that attempts to fake opposition unity by bringing parties or leaders together will fail.

"You must comprehend the BJP's strengths—Hindutva, nationalism, and welfareism—if you want to take it on. It is a pillar with three levels. Prashant Kishor stated in an exclusive interview with NDTV that you cannot fight the BJP if you are unable to surpass at least two of these levels.

"To combat the Hindutva ideology, there needs to be a coalition of ideologies. Ambedkarites, socialists, communists, Gandhiwadis, etc. Though ideology is crucial,

An opposition alliance, in your view as journalists, is just a grouping of parties or leaders. Who's going to tea with whom, and who's having lunch with whom... I consider it in terms of how ideologies are formed. Ideological alignment won't occur till that time. There is no possible way to beat the BJP."

He claimed that his own ideology is "Mahatma Gandhi's doctrine" and that the Bihar "Jan Suraaj Yatra" is "an attempt to resuscitate the Gandhi's Congress ideology."

The poll strategist, whose resume is chock-full of electoral successes since 2014, is currently traveling throughout Bihar on a "Jan Suraaj Yatra," which he maintains is just an effort to comprehend the state and establish a new political system.

It aims to alter Bihar's future and the conversation surrounding it. Bihar is well-known for its caste-based politics and other unjustified grounds. It's time for Bihar to become known for its people "Among political circles, Mr. Kishor, sometimes known as "PK," is well-known.

In response to his disagreement with the Gandhis over his proposal to revive the Congress, PK said: "The resurrection of the Congress was what I sought. To win the election was their aim. We couldn't come to an agreement on how they should carry out my suggestions."

The ultimate test of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra, according to him, will be how his statewide march affects people on the ground.

It involves more than just walking. There was a lot of praise and criticism throughout the first six months of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. You must see a difference after six months of walking, right? The goal of that yatra is to boost a party's election prospects. The only districts I could reach were four. It is not my goal to complete the yatra; rather, it is to better comprehend the area, said PK.

He brushed off the notion that he had become resentful and "aggressive" over the years. "I was a lot more hostile than I am now. In reality, I've handled numerous interviewers who claim to be far more aggressive, so people say I've mellowed out," he said.
