In Lagos State, deputy governor candidate Funke Akindele of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lost her mother.
Olubunmi Akindele, the sister of the Nollywood actress, announced it on Tuesday.
Olubunmi claimed that their mother passed away on Tuesday, she did not specify what caused her passing.
The Adebanjo and Akindele families announce the demise of their daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, DR. R B Adebanjo-Akindele, who occurred on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, with heavy hearts and complete surrender to God Almighty.
She begged for eternal peace for her kind soul.
