It has come to light that Gisele Bündchen allegedly purchased a property with a price tag of $11.5 million immediately across the waterway from Tom Brady's house in the weeks leading up to the conclusion of the couple's divorce proceedings.
According to Page Six's reporting, the Brazilian fashion model purchased the Miami Beach property with five bedrooms and 6,600 square feet on October 6.
The breathtaking mansion with five bedrooms and 6,600 square feet of living space appears to be located almost immediately across the waterway from her now-ex-husband Brady's property on Indian Creek Island, which is now under construction.
Gisele Bundchen has reportedly purchased a property in Miami for $11.5 million, directly across from Tom Brady.
A source told Page Six that Bündchen made her first visit to the estate on August 16, just a few days before the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took an 11-day break from playing in the National Football League. According to the reports, the decision to end the relationship was a desperate attempt to salvage the connection.
On the other hand, the pair formalized their divorce on October 28th, putting an end to their 13-year marriage.
'Gisele was actively looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom took his leave from the NFL, which implies that she was already done with the marriage and moving on,' the source stated. This suggests that Gisele has already moved on from Tom and is moving on with her life.
'You could literally swim from Gisele's place to Tom's — not that they would — but both homes will include a dock, so it would be very easy for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other,' the source added. 'Not that they would.' Gisele and Tom aren't likely to take advantage of this convenience.
The listing for this property highlights several desirable features, including soaring ceilings that reach a height of 25 feet, a large outdoor pool, a home cinema, a gym, several terraces, and views of the waterway and Indian Creek Island.
The couple's goal was to construct a home in the Indian Creek Country Club neighborhood of Miami that would serve as a refuge for them and their offspring forever.
According to the Post, they spent $17 million for the land and an extra $10.12 million in construction fees for the custom mansion, thus the total cost of the house is expected to be close to $30 million.
Benjamin, their son, is 12 years old, and Vivian, their daughter, is 9 years old. Both of their children were born to Brady and Bündchen. Following the conclusion of their divorce on October 28, the exes will take turns sharing custody of their children.
Jack Moynahan, who is now 15 years old, is Brady's son from a prior relationship with the actor Bridget Moynahan. Jack is Brady's only child.
