Peter Obi reveals the details of the agreements reached with the aggrieved PDP governors.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party's nominee for president, has dispelled rumours that he is collaborating with disgruntled governors who were elected on the PDP platform in order to win the 2023 presidential election.

Remember that Atiku Abubakar, the party's presidential candidate, had a falling out with Governors Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, and Seyi Makinde of Oyo State with whom Obi had multiple meetings.

The meetings had sparked rumours that the governors would be coordinating to support the former governor of Anambra State in the upcoming election in February.

However, he stated that he and the PDP governors share a desire to build a better Nigeria while visiting Governor Ortom in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State, on Tuesday.

The one agreement I have with them, according to Obi, is that they care deeply about Nigeria.

The All Progressive Congress, APC government was criticised by Obi for lacking leadership during the nation's current economic difficulties and humanitarian crises.

Obi commended Ortom for tackling security issues in Benue State at his own risk and convenience.
