NBA: Ben Gordon arrested for getting physical with McDonald's security guard

Former NBA player Ben Gordon has been detained once more after reportedly assaulting two McDonald's security agents in Chicago.

On Friday, November 4, about 3:30 AM, Gordon, 39, was arrested. The 2004 third-overall pick was allegedly getting aggressive as he was being led out of Mickey D's.

According to TMZ, Gordon shoved a second male guard, who was 21 years old, to the ground before punching a 29-year-old guard in the face.

The former basketball player has been arrested for two counts of misdemeanor battery, which are: making physical contact and causing bodily harm, though it is unknown why he was expelled from the restaurant.

Gordon was allegedly accused of hitting his 10-year-old son in the head at an airport for dropping a book less than a month ago.

Gordon was detained in connection with an active assault charge for an incident that occurred in Manhattan in 2020 shortly after being bailed in that arrest.

In 2004, Gordon led UConn to an NCAA Championship and led the Association with 14.9 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per contest.

Since his retirement in 2017, he has encountered the law multiple times.
