EPL: Ronaldo’s response to termination his contract will decide the course of action of Manchester United.

A deadline has been set by Manchester United in order to coerce Cristiano Ronaldo into leaving Old Trafford.

Before the Red Devils play their first Premier League game back after the World Cup on December 21st, the club intends to make a decision regarding Ronaldo's future.

After the explosive interview that the Portuguese had with Piers Morgan earlier in the week, the Red Devils issued a statement on Friday saying that they have "taken relevant procedures" in response to the incident.

According to claims coming out of ESPN, Manchester United would want to avoid a potentially drawn-out legal battle with Ronaldo by not suing him.

The article claims that Ronaldo's reaction to Man United's intentions to terminate his contract will determine the club's next move.

Ronaldo is presently with the Portugal squad as they prepare for their first match of the World Cup group stage on Thursday against Ghana.

The next match for the Red Devils is scheduled for the 21st of December, and it will be a Carabao Cup match against Burnley that will be played at home.

United has high hopes that a decision will be made and implemented before that time.
