Another injury blow for Arsenal before Tottenham clash

Before their Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, Arsenal has confirmed that attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe had surgery on his leg.

This was revealed by The Gunners on Thursday in a statement posted on their website.

The statement said, in part, that Emile's rehabilitation program has already started after his recent successful operation in London. Emile should return to full training in December, we hope.

"Now that Emile has our full backing, everyone at the club will work tirelessly to get him back on the field as soon as possible."

Remember that last week, Thomas Partey, an Arsenal midfielder, was injured and unable to play in an international friendly match between Ghana and Brazil.

The former Atletico Madrid player hurt his knee during warm-up before Ghana's match against Brazil.
