Transfer Talk: Timo Werner Reveals What Impacted His Confidence At Chelsea.

Timo Werner, a former Chelsea striker, claimed that his Premier League record won't be broken any time soon.

This was remarked by Werner as he discussed his fall from grace at Chelsea.

After just two years, the Germany international left Chelsea.

This week, Werner made his way back to Red Bull Leipzig of the Bundesliga.

He admitted that his confidence at Chelsea was adversely hurt by a combination of missed opportunities and numerous VAR decisions against him.

"In my first year at Chelsea, I missed a few shots. Then I believe I established a new record for VAR decisions rendered against me; nobody will soon surpass that mark! All of that caused me to lose confidence in my second year, Werner claimed, according to Sportskeeda.

Werner struggled to maintain his productive Leipzig form at Chelsea, scoring just 23 goals in 89 games, including just 10 in the Premier League.
