For the month of July, the three tiers of government each received N954.085 billion from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC).

The breakdown was included in a statement that the director of information, Phil Abiamuwe-Mowete, released.

The Local Government Councils received N210.617 billion, the States N281.342 billion, and the Federal Government N406.610 billion.

States that produce oil received N55.515 billion as a result (13 per cent of Mineral Revenue).

The Gross Revenue from the VAT accessible in July was N177.167 billion, which was less than what was distributed in the month before.

States received N88.584 billion, the FG received N26.575 billion, and LGCs received N62.008 billion.

The Gross Statutory Revenue disbursed, N776.918 billion, was greater than the total for June.


States received N192.759 billion, LGCs N148.609 billion, and the FG received N380.035 billion. Oil Derivation (13 percent Mineral Revenue) was worth N55.515 billion.

Import duties and value-added tax (VAT) were mentioned as having significantly dropped in the statement.

The Excess Crude Account (ECA) has a balance of $470.599 million as of August 24.
