EPL: Agbonlahor Gives Reasons Why Ben White Is Not Good Enough For The Gunners.

Ben White has come under fire from former Aston Villa captain Gabriel Agbonlahor, who claims the former Brighton player is unfit to play for the Gunners.

Because White is not Mikel Arteta's first-choice center-back in the squad, Agbonlahor claimed that White's signing was a waste of money.

Recall that White spent £50 million to transfer from Brighton Hove & Albion to Arsenal last summer.

Agbonlahor claimed that the England center-back's future in north London is dim in an interview with Football Insider. He stated:

"Ben White performed satisfactorily, but Tomiyasu must return. You can tell that Ben White, who plays right-back, will be exposed with a larger field and superior wingers.

If I were Ben White, I would be thinking, "Ouch, I'm not playing centre back while those two are healthy."

While Ben White is healthy, Gabriel and Saliba start at centre back. He will either start at right-back or not at all.

I stated this a few weeks ago. The sum of money Arsenal paid for him was a waste. He isn't good enough for me.

He isn't much better than Webster or Dunk, and Brighton must be laughing hysterically at paying £50 million for him to start for Arsenal.

You can see it happening in a year; Arsenal will definitely want to get some money back for him as he won't play at right-back and they already have two stronger center-halves.

Gabriel is the same, but Saliba is quicker, just as good with the ball, better in the air, and more aggressive. Ben White does not, in my opinion, begin when Arsenal's roster is fully fit.
