Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani responded to the video showing the ISAWP terrorist gang abusing the remaining passengers of the Kaduna-Abuja train.
In a series of tweets sent on Sunday via his Twitter account, Sani urged the Federal Government to either negotiate the release of the remaining kidnapped passengers or free them.
According to Bendelnews, on March 28, several terrorists abducted more than 60 passengers from a train travelling between Abuja and Kaduna.
Some of the victims of the kidnapping have already been freed, but some are still in the terrorists' custody.
The terrorists were shown flogging the surviving detainees, though, in a weekend viral video.
"The video clip of the Kaduna-bound train hostages' abuse was consistent with what happened at the Federal College of Agricultural Mechanization in Kaduna.
The distinction was that ladies were left alone. They are communicating. There are still only two options: either release them or negotiate their release.
"Other than family ransom payments, there have never been any effective rescue efforts for the majority of mass abductions of students, farmers, or passengers in Kaduna. That is why the terrorists in the film referred to the government-created body as the "Tea drinking committee."
"Terrorists are fighting a psychological battle to draw attention to their demands when they upload videos showing the torturing of their victims.
We don't have enough dense forest in the North West to make this struggle last for four months. The Government must act immediately; time is of the essence," he wrote.
