"Latona takes Mrs. Esther Lambo's position, who recently retired.
"The House also elevated three additional senior staff members to the post of Deputy Clerks while confirming Barrister Olalekan Onafeko as the substantive Clerk of the House.
"Mr. Babs Animashaun, Mr. Taiwo Otun, and Mrs. Adenike Oshinowo are among those elevated Deputy Clerks.
In 2020, Onafeko was made acting clerk.
Earlier in the session, the House voiced its concerns regarding the recent boat accident on June 8 that resulted in the deaths of roughly 15 persons as well as the recent flooding that was observed in various areas of the State.
The lawmakers added that Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of the State, needed to work on finding a solution to the flooding issues.
