On Friday, July 29, the registration for a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) was being held at the St. Brigid Catholic Church in Ijesha Surulere in Lagos.
However, the event was reportedly disrupted by individuals suspected of being touts.
Today, it is said that the criminals broke into the building and stole the machines used to register people for their PVC cards.
Some Nigerians who had gone to register were seen loitering outside the church premises in a video that was released online by a woman who had been present at the registration site.
