In South Africa, a trophy hunter who killed lions and elephants was put to death.
Riaan Naude, 55, the owner of Pro Hunt Africa, was discovered dead next to his truck in Marken Road, Limpopo. Riaan Naude frequently posts photos of himself on social media holding dead animals, including lions, elephants, and giraffes that he had killed.
In a region that encompasses a portion of the Kruger National Park animal reserve, things found in his car included two hunting rifles, according to a local news source, Maroela Media.
In Naude's car, police discovered two hunting guns, clothing, water, whiskey, and pyjamas, according to Maroela Media.
In the far north of South Africa, Naude headed the Pro Hunt Africa company, which advertises itself as a "hunting and Eco Safari operation" on its website.
A non-profit organisation fighting rhino poaching, The Heritage Protection Group, asserts that Naude stopped his car on the side of the road after it overheated about 5 kilometres from Mokopane.
It said that after another car came up next to him, a man "shot him in cold blood at close range." According to reports, two individuals got out of the automobile, took a gun from Naude, then got back in the car and headed toward Marken.
The XposeTrophyKilling Twitter account shared an image of Naude holding up a dead lion and tweeted that he "was shot execution style," informing its followers of the news of his passing.
