Mohamed Salah, a winger for Liverpool, has won the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Player of the Year award for the second year in a row.
With 23 goals, Salah tied for first place in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min.
He also contributed 13 assists to Liverpool's second-place finish in the Premier League, as well as the Carabao Cup and FA Cup victories.
"This is a great one to win, especially since it's voted on by the players."
"It demonstrates that you've put in a lot of effort and that you've gotten what you've worked for." "I have trophies in a cabinet in my room, and I made sure there was enough for one more," Salah said in a statement.
Salah earned the Football Writers' Association (FWA) Footballer of the Year title in April, but was beaten to the Premier League Player of the Year accolade by City's Kevin De Bruyne.
