Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra state and a presidential candidate, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Until his departure, Obi was one of 15 candidates seeking for the PDP's presidential nomination.
Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, the PDP's National Chairman, received his letter of resignation from the party today, May 25.
