S**x scandal involving a female student at Chrisland School has been made public.

Chrisland School has finally issued a statement in response to the viral video of a 10-year-old female pupil engaging in sexual activities with other children.

On Monday, a viral video revealed the students engaging in a sexual act.

Chrisland, in a statement signed by Akin Fadeyi, a member of the School's Advisory Board, denied that a pregnancy test was performed on the female student, instead stating that a COVID-19 post-travel test was performed.

According to the school, the girls were kept on the 11th floor, while the boys were kept on the 4th floor to protect and respect their moral bounds.

The school claimed that its first response to the problem was to assume parental roles, offering support to the pupils involved and ensuring that nothing harmed the children's self-esteem.

"Within these 71, we had our females on the 11th floor and boys on the 4th level to make clear limits that respect moral boundaries," the statement stated.

"While we understand the emotions that have been elicited, we assure the public that our initial approach as an institution was to adopt parental roles by extending support to those involved and ensuring that nothing harmed their perceptions of self-esteem."

"However, after a thorough examination of the scenario, we can't help but emphasise how scandalised and troubled we are as moms, fathers, and educators with a relationship that has a direct impact on the development of individuals involved."

"However, we were obligated to engage with the parents of the remaining kids who had sadly become involved in misconduct, as well as by our code of conduct standards, which are well known to the parents."

"Chrisland scolded them in order to instil discipline and serve as a deterrent to other pupils."

"The disciplinary action was not intended to undermine our cohesive culture as a community of future leaders and committed educators, but rather to be proactive in enforcing the type of discipline that strives to correct and reform our children (students) when they wander from the path of rectitude."

"While we hasten to emphasise that, as an institution that manages children from varied backgrounds, we cannot claim or embark on any sense of self-righteousness in our approach, but we grow and evolve within the frameworks of best practises every single day."

Chrisland went on to say that it was re-evaluating its processes to strengthen child safety protocols and that it would leave no stone unturned in guaranteeing that the children's self-esteem was unwaveringly safeguarded.
