Breaking: Adekunle Gold, Davido lead "Something in the water festival" of Pharrel Williams on June 19, 2022.

On June 19, 2022, singers Davido and Adekunle Gold will headline Pharrel William's music festival "Something in the Water."

After a temporary hiatus owing to the coronavirus outbreak, the music festival is returning to the pleasure of music and festival fans.

Pharrel and his team confirmed Davido and Adekunle Gold's appearance at the music event in an Instagram post on Monday.

'High,' the duo's popular duet, commanded the airwaves in 2021 and 2022.

They will join a large list of international music stars such as Lil Baby, Chloe x Halle, Lil Uzi Vert, Tyler, the Creator, Tierra Whack, Run the Jewels, Jon Batiste, Dave Matthews Band, and more.

The music festival, which first took place in Virginia Beach in 2019, has moved to Washington, D.C., and will run from June 17 to June 19, 2022, for a total of three days.

In the early hours of Tuesday, an ecstatic Davido revealed the music festival poster on his Instagram story.

"Something In The Water is a Black solution (LOVE) for a systemic issue," Pharrel said in a statement. This year, we're elevating our celebration to a higher level by holding it in the nation's capital over Juneteenth Weekend.

We want to show the world that there is Something In The Water throughout the DMV, and I want to keep raising awareness of the grandeur that exists within these neighbourhoods and inviting huge corporations to stand up for the people.

As a person and a musician, DC has always been a huge source of inspiration for me.

"It is the land that gave birth to Go-Go music and has contributed so much for our people." Our sponsors continue to go above and beyond to demonstrate that Something In The Water is more than just a festival.

Our ability to generate goodwill is a distinguishing characteristic of who we are."
