Arsenal signs christan Ronaldo In summer If arsenal hierarchy agrees to piers Morgan's request.

Ace Piers Morgan, a British journalist, has pushed Arsenal to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United this summer.

Morgan stated that he had personally approached Portugal internationals about moving to the Emirates from Old Trafford.

The outspoken television host, who is a fervent Arsenal supporter, claims that the football superstar is not treated with the appropriate respect in Manchester United's 'arrogant' dressing room.

He stated that the former Real Madrid and Juventus star would be better served by assisting the Gunners in reclaiming their proper Premier League title race position.

The Dutch manager faces a similar rebuilding task at Old Trafford as Mikel Arteta had at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are firmly in the race for a top-four finish after victories against Chelsea and Manchester United.

Morgan believes that a surprise move for Ronaldo would be the ideal way to assist the young Gunners reclaim the top spot.

Morgan stated on talkSPORT Breakfast: "When it comes to money, owners, riches, and banks, we have the wealthiest of them all."

"Are you aware of what I would do as Arsenal manager?" I'd go in, seize Cristiano Ronaldo, and place him in the starting lineup.

"Last week, I had this talk with him. 'Come to Arsenal,' I replied.

"The Arsenal-Manchester United saga is quite fascinating. On paper, United possess a greater number of talented players and a greater number of experienced, talented players, but they lack the necessary mentality.

"The mentality is revolting. Whatever is going on at that club...without Ronaldo, they would not be winning, but Arsenal has young, motivated, extremely promising players with a positive mindset. Individuals such as [Bukayo] Saka, [Emile] Smith Rowe, [Kieran] Tierney, and the rest of these gentlemen.

"That is reassuring. If you combine United's talent with our philosophy, you have a match made in heaven for both clubs.

"I am not joking. Cristiano Ronaldo is someone I'd want to bring to Arsenal. I'd take him in a heartbeat if he's not going to stay at United.

"I watched the game over the weekend and he was the standout performer.

"As a striker, observing Ronaldo's mobility and goal scoring record at the age of 37, I'd place Ronaldo up front and let these kids learn from him."

Morgan continued, "There is a fantastic story from Saturday. As I approached this box, I noticed Dennis Bergkamp, my all-time Arsenal hero.

"I was telling Dennis how Thierry Henry is always irritated when I claim Dennis is my number one when there is a tap on my shoulder and it is Thierry!"

"I found myself photographing the two of them, then I went down and saw that Arsenal had published footage of them speaking with Smith Rowe and Saka, and you could feel the awe in those young men's eyes.

"I don't believe there is much respect for Ronaldo among those young United players.

"I believe that the egos are writing checks to ensure that the lack of titles does not bring the club down, and my message to those young United players is that while you are talented, your egos are out of control, and you should seek guidance from Ronaldo."
