According to an administration official, this is the third money drawdown; previous orders were for $60 million and $250 million, bringing the total over the last year to over a billion dollars.
The State Department is expected to issue a statement with additional information soon.
This announcement follows a 40-minute phone conversation between Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday, during which they discussed "concrete defence assistance."
