Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich has been voted FIFA's Best Men's Player of 2021.
At an event held on Monday night in Zurich, Switzerland, Lewandowski received the award ahead of Lionel Messi of Paris Saint-Germain and Mohamed Salah of Liverpool.
In 2021, Lewandowski had perhaps his best year of his career.
He added four trophies to his silverware collection.
Lewandowski was named Player of the Tournament after Bayern's 1-0 victory in the final, finishing ahead of Tigres' André-Pierre Gignac and Joshua Kimmich.
However, in the 2021 Ballon d' Or, the Poland international came in second place behind Messi.
