The cop who assaulted tourists and shot in their direction in a viral video has been paraded by the Edo State Police.
The video went viral and sparked controversy yesterday.
Following the uproar, it was reported that the officer involved, as well as members of his crew, had been detained.
Nigerians, on the other hand, were unsatisfied and demanded proof.
The Nigerian Police Force has issued a statement on Facebook, along with a photo of the trigger-happy cop on display.
According to the police, the event occurred in December 2021. However, it took the officer's arrest in January 2022 after the video became viral.

He and his team members who were there at the time of the incident are currently being imprisoned at the State CID's detention facilities.
The case is being examined by the Command's X-squad unit.
