If Tinubu becomes the APC candidate, I will vote for him – Joe Igbokwe

Joe Igbokwe, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has spoken out about the party's National Leader, Bola Tinubu, and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo's "conflict of choice." Tinubu is the National Leader of the party.

According to the APC, Igbokwe declared that the APC would choose its presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election.

The Special Adviser for Drainage and Water Resources to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State made the remarks in an interview with Arise TV's Morning Programme.

However, if Tinubu, the APC's national leader, is chosen as the party's presidential candidate, he has declared that he will vote for him.

"It is the party that will decide; we will go to the national convention; whoever emerges, we will support that person because only one candidate will be fielded by the APC; it can be Asiwaju (Tinubu), it can be Osinbajo, it can be Umahi," Igbokwe said in response to the question of whether there will be a conflict of choice between Osinbajo's supporters and Tinubu's supporters.

Tinubu, Ebonyi State Governor Dave Umahi, and Senate Chief Whip Orji Uzor Kalu have all stated that they intend to run for President in 2023.
