EPL:#Tuchel discusses #Chelsea players' fate after #Brighton draw

Following a 1-1 draw at Brighton, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has stated that his players would be given two days off.

The Blues appeared sluggish at the Amex Stadium, dropping more points in the title battle.

Adam Webster's free header cancelled out Hakim Ziyech's first-half score.

Tuchel's side haven't won in their previous four Premier League games, drawing three of them, and have squandered a chance to leapfrog Liverpool into second place.

"We need some rest; we have two days free now and two days to prepare for our next encounter against Tottenham at home." There is no other option for the boys than to take a few days off.

"When we got at Man City, we had the Carabao Cup in between, but they had not." They had more time to prepare when we arrived. We've been playing like this since November, and we're the squad that keeps playing.

"We need to disconnect and recharge the batteries." That's why I've given them two days free, and we'll use Friday and Saturday to prepare for our match against Tottenham on Sunday," Tuchel added.
