In order to prevent a bulldozer from entering Magodo Phase 2 Estate, the residents of the neighbourhood gathered outside their homes.
Residents claim that a gang of "hoodlums" from the police had previously visited the estate and "tagged practically all the houses in the fully-built Estate for demolition."
Last night, Dec. 21, the bulldozer was brought in to commence demolition, according to reports.

In order to ensure that the demolition could proceed as planned, armed mobile police officers were reportedly on hand.
In order to prevent the bulldozer from entering, residents gathered to "create a human shield" at the gate's entry.
