#Sokoto villagers under attack; nine killed, six adopted

 

In some villages in Goronyo municipality, Sokoto state, nine people were killed and another six were kidnapped by suspected bandits. 

It became known that the bandits killed eight men and one woman in the three villages that were attacked. The alleged bandits attacked Bejingo, Dantudu and Tulutu, and all in the Birjin neighborhood, 

Villagers' herds of cattle were reportedly taken away by the bandits during Saturday's attack. 

The bodies of the deceased are already buried according to Islamic rites.
