According to reports, the perpetrators broke into the church as some members were attending a meeting.Through his special adviser on media and publicity, Habeeb Jamiu, the chairman of the local government area, Joseph Omuya Salami, confirmed the abduction of three church members to journalists.“

Even before this, we held a series of meetings with the residents of Osara and the entire farm center. And I advised them that for the time being, they should limit all night activities, and that anyone who wants to host an activity at night should notify the relevant quarters and seek their approval to ensure that enough security is provided, but they chose otherwise due to their disobedience.
